Yrjö Kukkapuro

Yrjö Kukkapuro (1933–2025) is one of Finland’s leading furniture designers, with a career spanning over 65 years. His design style is characterised by the exploration of experimental forms and a respectful approach to ergonomics, ecological values, and the inherent properties of materials.

Kukkapuro’s designs are featured in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
