100 SERIES
Blond
1969–72

The 100F lamp is a practical solution with a sculptural character. Designed for practicality, it combines function and form with precision.
Built from aluminium, tubular steel, and fibreglass, the 100F lamp has a minimalist structure designed for indirect, upward illumination. Its materials are carefully selected for durability and simplicity, ensuring an aesthetic that complements its practical function. The lamp’s upward-facing light elevates its surroundings while maintaining a restrained, architectural form.
Like the rest of the 100 series, the 100F lamp was born out of necessity. In Kukkapuro’s experimental studio house, the cast concrete vaulted ceilings presented a visually striking, uninterrupted surface that traditional hanging fixtures would have disrupted. This design challenge inspired the development of the series, showing how functional constraints can lead to innovative and timeless design solutions.
